Plenty of firms will build you a dashboard. Six weeks later the data source changes, nobody maintains it, and everyone goes back to the spreadsheet. We run reporting as a monthly service, so the pack keeps arriving whether or not anything upstream changed.

Each month we collect the files or exports, reconcile them against the previous month, rebuild the dashboard, and send you the pack with a written summary. When something looks wrong we ask you about it before publishing, rather than reporting a number we do not believe.

Where your data can come from

Frequently asked questions

Can you work with Excel?
Yes, and most clients start there. Excel and CSV exports are the most common source we receive, and we can deliver back in Excel if that is what your team will actually open.
Can you connect multiple data sources?
Yes. Consolidating sales from a POS, costs from accounting software and targets from a spreadsheet is normal work. We agree the reconciliation rules with you first.
Can you build Power BI dashboards?
Yes, including the data model behind them, and we can publish to your workspace. We can also keep everything in Excel if a Power BI licence is not worth it for your team.
Can you maintain dashboards monthly?
That is the main service. A dashboard nobody maintains stops being used within two months, so we treat maintenance as the product rather than an add-on.
Can you prepare management reports and commentary?
Yes. Each pack includes a written summary of what changed and why it might matter. Board and investor packs can be prepared to your own format.
Can you work with our existing reports?
Yes, and it is often the cheapest start. We take the report you already produce, rebuild it properly, and then improve it once you can see it side by side.
Can you clean our data?
Yes. Data cleaning, de-duplication, consolidation and validation are included in the reporting service, and can also be bought as a standalone project.
Do you need access to our systems?
Not necessarily. Many clients simply export files each month. Where direct access saves real time we will discuss it, with your own access controls applied.
Is our financial data kept confidential?
Yes. It is used only for your reporting, access is limited to the people assigned to your account, and confidentiality terms are in the service agreement.
